High Tech Burrito has been at the forefront of the healthy eating movement since 1986. That’s when they opened their first 400-square-foot, four-stool location in San Rafael, California. Now with 14 stores around Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area, High Tech Burrito approached Sonia Jones Design for a top-to-bottom rebranding effort.
Our research showed the need to forge a more memorable brand identity in the crowded fresh and healthy fast-food category. We developed a rocket and outer-space theme to complement the restaurant name and reflect the warmth and fun of the High Tech Burrito story.
Our comprehensive design partnership with High Tech Burrito produced a makeover of menu boards, take-out menus, point-of-purchase materials, table tents, packaging, and interior and exterior signage. We wrapped it all up with a style guide. And speaking of wraps, we also created a food truck wrap – the perfect way to bring healthy, fresh Mexican food to people throughout the Bay Area.
